Jose Mourinho has been pictured outside his London home with some mystery notes as closes in on the Manchester United job.

The Portuguese is set to replace Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford after his sacking was finally confirmed on Monday.

Mourinho's agent Jorge Mendes has met with Ed Woodward with a deal expected to be announced in the next 48 hours.

The former Chelsea boss has been out of work since he was sacked by the Stamford Bridge club in December, when the then-Premier League champions were languishing in the bottom half of the table.
