Rooney nets 100th Old Trafford goal

The Manchester United captain racked up a century of home goals for the club with a side-foot finish in the Premier League clash with BournemouthWayne Rooney scored his 100th Premier League goal at Old Trafford for Manchester United on Tuesday in the campaign closer against Bournemouth.
The club captain finished off a flowing team move to sidefoot beyond Adam Federici in the 43rd minute of the rearranged clash to give United a 1-0 half-time lead.
And the strike, Rooney's first since February 2, was the 30-year-old's 100th club goal at the Theatre of Dreams since his arrival from Everton in 2004.
Rooney is the highest-scoring United player at Old Trafford during the Premier League era, accounting for almost 10 per cent of the Red Devils' 1005 goals in league football since 1992-93.
Thierry Henry is the only player who has scored more Premier League goals at one ground - 114 at Highbury.
