Nine feared dead, ten others injured in Lagos accident

Nine people were dead while ten others sustained varying degrees of injuries yesterday, in Lagos during an autocrash involving a Toyota Hiace and a truck. The casualties include men, women and children while incident occurred at about 5.45am at Fadeyi, Ikorodu road when the driver of the bus with number plate Katsina KT 715 YG who was driving on a top speed suddenly veered off his and rammed into the truck. According to eyewitnesses, the bus was on night trip from Jigawa inward Oyingbo when its driver dozed off and lost control at Fadeyi only to record the fatal incident which recorded the nine casualties including the driver. The bus was said to be from Jigawa while the truck was traveling inward Anthony when the fatality was recorded. An eye witness Lanre Sipeolu said the bus climbed the culvet and first of all hit a street light and finally ran across the road where it rammed into the incoming truck with number plate Lagos GGE 724 XH.
